Alibaba deliveries go airborne

Alibaba is using drones to deliver products to Chinese customers. It’s just tea for now and is limited to a few cities but that will only be the start.

Conventional wisdom is that the west originates and China follows. This signals a shift away from that position.

Drone delivery of basic essentials was always going to be the catalyst for change in global retail behaviour. Looks like China has started a drone war. I wonder who will win?
